Church Songs Christian MusicChurchsongs Christian Music distributes and promotes the music of Diane Simmons and Keryn Morehu - the founders of Eclipse Music and Harmony House. Keryn and Diane have been composing, recording and performing new and original Christian songs for the past fifteen years They have produced over one hundred songs for Christian churches and schools of all denominations, including bright and catchy religious songs for children as well as beautifully reflective hymns for adults. Their work has been widely acclaimed across both Australia and New Zealand, in particular in Catholic Churches and schools, with their song Spirit Gently Come being one of the most popular Christian songs of recent years for Confirmations and Liturgies. Apart from their music ministry Keryn and Diane have both had careers in Catholic Education as Primary School teachers and classroom music specialists. They have also taught instrumental music -piano, keyboard, guitar and singing – and are professional singers. As well, Keryn and Diane have spent many years as choir directors and workshop facilitators in school, corporate and community settings. Keryn and Diane are prolific songwriters and recording artists, having produced thirteen successful cd’s to date, (twelve of them for schools and churches).They have had eight music books published. Their songs cover a wide range of topics from Christmas, Easter, Praise, Jesus, Mary, Grief, Graduation, to the Sacraments of First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Reconciliation and so on. In 2007, their children’s
song “Surfie Surfie Santa” from their“Let There
Be Christmas” album received a songwriting award from the
Australian Songwriter’s Association, as did their recently
released single- “In The Palm Of Your Hand” |
